for YDCG custom WS 15-2B audio monitors. Within the hollowed shell of Studio B of the former Yamaha International R & D Studio, the new control room takes form with a multi-faceted, sharp-edged geometry. The oak finished front wall displays three main monitors at the left, center and right positions with two subwoofers below the left and right speakers. Two rear monitors are housed in hanging soffits clad with the same oak paneling. In contrast, the draped ceiling above the client seating area is a hovering, glowing plane that stretches past the front ceiling and wraps around the video projector soffit.
Yanchar Design & Consulting Group utilizes computers through the entire development of a project, from initial studies to final construction documents.
